A scenic 40-minute drive from the CBD and Cape Town International Airport, the Fish Hoek Valley is a picturesque village nestled between Kalk Bay and Simons Town.

Fish Hoek is filled with history and character and gained its place in world history with the discovery of a fossilized skeleton, in 1926, in Peers Cave. Known as Fish Hoek Man, whose skull is estimated to be about 12 000 years’ old, and had the largest brain area of any skull its age found up until that time.
The area has good public transport by train, and is also serviced by bus and taxi routes.
